Featured are local goods

Ideal Green Market Co-op officially opened in late Fall of 2015 and continues to be of service to the community providing access to local food and goods.  There are currently 225 member-owners committed to growing the vision of a viable, sustainable food cooperative in Ideal Corners.

Featured are local goods from growers and food producers that fit the criteria of non-gmo, natural, and sustainably produced goods. Already this year local greens (spinach, salad mix, lettuce mix, and scallions) have been available, thanks to growers using green houses, hoop houses and hydroponics. Local and Minnesota goods continue to be popular, such as: grass-fed beef, pork, poultry, eggs, chaga, flours, honey, sunflower oil, wild rice, maple and wild berry syrups, preserves, tea, seasonings, coffee, and more.

There are many ways to be involved with both the farmers' market and the co-op, and a volunteer orientation is available for those interested in assisting. It's about working together to create a more sustainable, local food system and have fun in the process building community.

SNAP/EBT is available at both the co-op and the farmers' market. For more information, browse this website, follow us on Facebook, email, or call 218-543-6565.
