Where the rubber meets the road...

If you can volunteer an hour or two at the Co-op, read on...

There's a new "To-Do" Check List (see below) for Volunteers to work from - as you are able - and based on what you like to do, or are willing to do. Once your task is finished, enjoy crossing it off the checklist posted in the back hallway at the Co-op.

REGULAR HELP WITH FARMERS' MARKETS - help working with vendors to set up and interfacing with public.
• Still need some helpers for our big Farmers' Market roadsigns / set up & take down each week at:
CR 11 & CR3
CR 16 & CR 6
CR145 & CR16

WANTED! A 2nd cleaning team to share the weekly cleaning. Each team could do every-other-week. Allowing each a break between their weeks.  Anyone?  Click to email us and volunteer!

TO DO LIST:

CLEANING TASKS:

  • Kitchen - wipe and wash everything down, walls too, w/ vinegar water and stainless steel counters, carts, sinks w/ special cleaner
  • Walk-in Cooler - wipe & wash down all shelving, doors inside and out w/ vinegar water
  • Clean out Produce Bin & wipe down front produce racks w/ vinegar water
  • Wash down shopping carts and baskets w/ vinegar water
  • Dust product shelves & canned goods & bulk bins w/ vinegar water
  • Clean out front beverage cooler - inside wipe down

OUTSIDE TASKS:

  • rake and clean up around building
  • plant flower boxes w/ herbs and flowers
  • move remaining straw bales to back over septic drain field
  • Optional:  plant the old shopping cart with herbs/flowers (line with moss, fill with dirt and plants)
